What our clients have to say...

"We have been using Mercator during the last 5 years and the software suits our needs perfecly. Our main research line consists of the quantification of several structures (neurons, vessels and astrocytes) separating cortical layers, and Mercator allows us to do it in a easy and fast way, using the most often used stereological procedures (optical disector and Cavalieri method). The stereological procedures are integrated in a very intuitive way, making a fast learning curve, this is a key point in our work. The easier the training procedure, the faster we start getting results from junior researchers. Another feature of Mercator is that it is very easy to fit to specific individual requirements, as it is a modular open system and easy to configure to available equipment. Last but not least, the use of Mercator allows us to fulfill the requirements of referees in high impact journals, that only accept quantitative results when unbiased procedures have been used."
