Extended Depth of Focus can be obtained using Z Focus

The Z Focus module can either be added on to Explora Nova's image analysis software packages (Morpho, Mercator and Bone) or used as a stand-alone application. It enables the  generation of high-resolution images, with fields of view that are impossible to obtain directly under the microscope. The powerful pattern matching algorithms used allow creation of

i) hyper-resolved images with a standard sensor and

ii) hyper-field depth images with a standard objective.

Automatic or interactive image acquisition as a function of the Z axis.
Search for the sections of the image with the best contrast.
Reconstruction of perfectly focused images.
