Morpho Lite is a high quality software package for image acquisition, archiving and interactive measurement. It is easy to use and has been designed to meet the needs of a range of applications in biology, medicine and materials science. Morpho Lite provides tools which enable you to perform the following tasks:

• Acquisition of images from video or digital sources (firewire IEEE 1394 format) or from TWAIN-compatible peripherals (scanners, digital cameras, etc.)
• Calibration and saved settings for ten different objectives (all user-definable), for use with recorded images or live video.
• Contour tracing (rectangles, squares, three-point circles, polygons, etc.).
• Line tracing (straight lines, dotted lines, edge projections, etc.).
• Measurement of contour surfaces, perimeters, diameters, form factors, granulosity, etc.
• Angle and distance measurements.
• Pointer-based counting.
• Use of grids and measurement circles during live video acquisition.
• Measurement of X Y separation during live video acquisition.
• Measurement display in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Addition of legends, arrows or other images superposed on or incrusted in the sample image.
• Image storage in a range of compressed or non-compressed formats (TIFF, JPEG, BMP, etc.).

Morpho Pro

Morpho Pro is a professional software package for image acquisition and processing. It incorporates all the functions of Morpho Lite and adds numerous image processing and enhancement functions, a comprehensive automated object detection module and morphometric, densitometric and colorimetric measurements (including dedicated fluorescent functions). Some of these features are listed below:

• Filters (enhancement, softening, contours (Laplacian, Sobel, Prewitt, etc.)) and user-defined convolution.
• Contrast enhancement (automatic definition or interactive, LUT-based definition).

Morpho Expert is a comprehensive, professional software package for image treatment and analysis. It incorporates all the functions of Morpho Pro and adds macro-command module. This enables automation of the whole image analysis process, from image acquisition to the calculation of the derived results in Microsoft ® Excel.
